What is RestoreDiscsDepot.com?

We are a computer installation media provider for laptops and desktops. We started providing our services back in 2005 through local stores around the USA. We expanded our services through RestoreDiscsDepot.com a few years later for old and new Customers who find ordering their install discs over the web much more convenient. Our web sales have bonus offers updated monthly.
 


What is included in each installation set?

Each installation set (also known as system recovery or system restore CDs or DVDs) includes
a full version of Windows operating system, all necessary drivers, and currently supported
applications for your computer model. For some brands and/or models, you don't need to
select the Windows operating system version because we already know which one your model
came with. For other brands or models, the Windows operating system version you select
(Windows 7, Vista, XP, XP Media Center, 2000, or 98se) must match the license or COA (Certificate of Authenticity) sticker attached to your computer in order to validate your license when you use
the installation set you bought from us. You can easily locate the COA sticker at the bottom of
your laptop or at the back of your desktop computer. Note that if you do not have a COA
attached to your computer you will not be able to activate your Windows installation.
 

What payment methods do you accept?

We only accept PayPal for orders placed through our website. We are PayPal Verified, which means you are buying from a reliable PayPal merchant. You can use your credit or debit card through PayPal.

 

How is my information protected when I place an order?

Your credit or debit card information stays with PayPal and is not revealed to the merchant (us). You can also read our Privacy Policy if you want to know more details. RestoreDiscsDepot does not share any information with third parties.

 

How can I contact you?

You can contact us through our Contact Us page. It is easy and your question
arrives at our Customer Service desk within minutes. Our sales staff will reply to you within 24 hours. At times, the volume of emails our Customer Service Department receives may be larger than usual, which may slow down our reply process.



Do you have a phone number I can call to contact you?

Yes, we do. However, our direct phone lines and 1-800 number are currently reserved for our
Corporate-level Customers. For end-user services, as offered through our website, you can Contact Us via e-mail. In certain cases we will be able to offer phone support at a rate of $74.00 per 15 minutes. However, less than 1% of our end-user Customers have had a need of phone support as installation sets are made step-by-step, easy to install by the manufacturer.



What warranty do you offer?


If you are not satisfied with the product we refund your payment.



How long does shipping take?

We ship orders out within 24 hours. For USA Customers, your order should usually arrive in 1 to 4 days. This does not include weekends or holidays.


Do you ship international?

RestoreDiscsDepot.com ships worldwide. International S/H cost must be paid before we ship your order.


What if the product arrives damaged?

You only need to contact us letting us know your item was damaged in transit and we will reship your order immediately. No additional payments are required.



Do you accept returns or exchanges?

In general, software can not be returned. It can only be exchanged for the same model.
However, we do accept returns and/or exchanges when the product is not as you expected.

 

Can I select any Windows operating system version for my computer?

You must select the operating system as stated in the COA license sticker you have attached
to your computer. Most laptops have it at the bottom. Most desktops have it at the back of
the CPU case. You can also ask us what operating system your model came with from the
manufacturer if you don't know how to read the Windows version from the COA.


Do I need a license or COA sticker to install my computer?

Yes, you do. Almost all laptops and desktop computers ship from the
manufacturer with operating system COA license. You should easily find it at the bottom of your
laptop or at the back of your desktop. You will need your computerís COA license to activate
the operating system. We do not give, share, or copy licenses.
